My busy work season is finally over and I'm ready to start working on the lace dress, the wedding is around the corner, so I'd better step on it! It's taken a bit of time to decide how to make the bodice. Since it's my first time working with lace--I'm treating it as an underlined garment, you can see that I've basted the darts and the edges. I'm using Ambiance as the lining and underlining, I think it will work out alright. The lace itself is medium weight, so I'm not going to put anything too stiff underneath. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
